WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -Â Three Banana Slugs finished in the top half of the field as women's golf competed at Williams College's Championship Classic held at the Taconic Golf Course. It was UC Santa Cruz's first regular season action in the Northeast since 2013.
Gillian Mendoza finished 24th with a two-day score of 160 (18 over par) to place 24th overall. Mikaela Paracuelles and Alyssa Yee finished tied for 30th after the pair each shot 163 (21 over).Â
With their wild three-week, three-state opening stretch done, UC Santa Cruz returns home before their final tournament of Fall in two weeks in Texas.
