Welcome to UCSC Community Boating Center!
Program Offerings
The UCSC Community Boating Center offers sailing and rowing programs for UCSC students and community members of all experience levels.
Whether you're new to boating or looking to build your skills, our programs provide opportunities to learn, connect, and enjoy time on Monterey Bay.
Yearly Schedule:
For UCSC Students
Physical Education Courses – PE Classes are offered during the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters (September–early June).
For Community Members
Memberships – Annual and quarterly memberships give community members year-round access to our fleet during club hours.
Adult Classes – Beginner to advanced sailing and rowing classes are offered in the spring and summer.
Community Events – Join us for regattas and other opportunities to get out on the water year round.
For Youth
Youth Classes – Beginner to advanced classes is offered during the summer.
Junior Summer Camps – Fun, hands-on programs focused on boating skills, safety, and building confidence on the water are offered in the summer.
Club Hours:
Friday: 4:00-7:00pm * Daylight Savings only *
Saturday: 12:00-7:00pm
Sunday: 12:00-7:00pm

Spring and Summer Calendar
Cancellation Policy
Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 7–10 business days.
Refunds are based on how far in advance you cancel:
- Full refund: 31+ days before the start of class
- 50% refund: 14–30 days before the start of class
- No refund: Within 14 days of the start of class
To cancel your registration or request a refund, please email with:
- Your name and email
- Participant’s name and student ID (if applicable)
- Program or service
- Date of purchase
- Order number
- Amount paid
- Reason for the cancellation or refund request
