PERSONAL: Son of Ezequiel Nava and Maria Villa. Picked UCSC because it was close to home, a great education and close friends attend here. Hobbies include "being around positive vibes, whether it is with family or friends. I enjoy living in the city but nature is a blessing." Most influential person is coach Agapito Mendoza. "Although he is no longer with us, he devoted much of his time to his players in order to have them be successful. He taught me much of what I know today, on and off the field."
