Track and Field closes season with Several PRs at Redlands

REDLANDS -- UC Santa Cruz closed an amazing outdoor season with several great performances at the Redlands Last Chance Qualifier.
For the women, school record holder Chloe Solomua finished her season placing third in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.77. It was her third consecutive sub-15 performance as she clinched an All Region nod. Amaya Cummins finished the 200m in a school-record 25.64 to place 3rd, and Solomua crossed in 25.82 for a new PR to finish sixth.
Cummins was also fourth in the 100m dash after crossing in a new record of 12.38.Â
Cummins finishes her sophomore year setting a new school record in the 200 Aaron Hillberg won the men's 800m in 1:52.78. It was a new PR and 0.22 seconds faster than his runner-up time at the C2C Championships two weeks ago. All-Region performer and C2C Champion Eric Anderson was 14th in 2:07.03.
