
Murphy earns All-American honors from WBCA

ATLANTA- - Senior Forward Kaylee Murphy was named Honorable Mention Division III All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association as announced on Thursday.
It is the second-straight year she has earned the accolade from the WBCA. She is the first All-American in program history.
This year, Murphy averaged 12.4 points 11.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists. She became the first player in UC Santa Cruz history - male or female- to attain 1,000 career rebounds. Her 17 double-doubles was 12th in the nation and she was 30th in rebounds per game. She also became the school's career assist leader with 317 and finished her career fourth on the school's career scoring list with 1,168.
