Browne lowers own school record in 110 Hurdles
TURLOCK- Daniel Browne and Shea Wissler represented UC Santa Cruz well with their first college decathlons at the Stanislaus State Multis.
Browne finished in fifth place with 5,424 points while Wissler was fourth after totaling 5,445 over the two-day event. The two scores put them in the top 12 of Division III so far this season.
Browne opened the second day with a time of 15.43 in the 110 Hurdles. The time was 0.17 better than Browne's PR and school record he set last week in San Francisco. He added personal bests in the Discus (93 ft 0 in) and Javelin (100ft 1 in).
Wissler also had PRs in the Discus (118ft 8in) and Javelin (151ft 11in) on the second day. The duo were ahead for most of Day One until Chico State's Zack Nelson made up 500 points to take the individual title
