SANTA CRUZ, CA -- UC Santa Cruz Men's Volleyball were defeated by Grand Canyon University. The Slugs lost in three sets with the following scores: 22-25, 17-25, 21-25.
Senior Opposite Hitter Harland Frost led the team with 8 kills (0.300 pct). Senior Libero Mauro Salinas led the team with 17 digs. Senior Setter Kevin Crosby contributed 25 assists on the match.
This loss brings their overall record to 10-6 (7-1 D-III, 5-1 CVC).
The Slugs next head to Kenosha, WI to play in their second conference tournament.
