2024 Season - Junior
Earned Second Team All-Conference and Academic All-District Honors from CSC…Appeared in 100 sets for UC Santa Cruz as a middle blocker…Recording 146 total kills, 33 digs, 105.0 total blocks…Secured a number 2 spot in the Banana Slug record books with a season-high .700 single match hitting percentage versus Pacific (OR).Â
2023 Season - Sophomore
Played in 72 sets recording 95 kills, 74 blocks, and 7 digs. Had a season-high 9 kills versus La Verne.Â
Finished with ten kills and nine blocks over seven matches in 2022. Had five kills in seven swings in college debut on September 3rd at Redlands. Season-high four block assists in a sweep against Linfield on September 10th.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Monterey County MVP, all-county player at Salinas High. Was Honor roll, 4.0 student-athlete, and social studies student of the year. Played club for Rage Westside.
PERSONAL: Parents are Jens Uwe Gordon and Sabine Gordon, who are the most influential persons in their lives because "without their guidance, love, and support I wouldn’t be who I am today."
Picked UCSC For the atmosphere and "the chance to pursue a career in something I’m passionate about."
Hobbies off the court are listening to music, hiking, reading, swimming, and "hanging out with people I love."
