UCSC Earns Four All-C2C Honors for Women's Volleyball

SANTA CRUZ, Ca. – On Thursday morning, the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) announced the 2024 Women's Volleyball Awards and All-Conference Teams. The UC Santa Cruz women's volleyball team earned four All-Conference nods, including two First Team members, two Second Team members, and the 2024 C2C Rookie of the Year.
 
Headlining the honors were First Team student-athletes Kelly Ann Greene and Ashley Magley. The duo was a force for the Slugs all around the court as Magley finished the regular season with 276 kills and a 2.76 kills per set average while Kelly Ann Greene finished with 252 and a 2.50 k/s. Kelly Ann Greene had an impressive year on the attack, hitting at a .371 clip with just 56 errors on the yar while Magley finished the season with a .225 hitting percentage. Kelly Ann Greene also recorded a team high 51 service aces on the season.
 
On the Second Team, Olly Gordon and Margo Melgoza were both honored with All-C2C selections with Margo Melgoza being named the C2C Rookie of the Year. Melgoza recorded 6.01 assists per set, ending the regular season with 553 total assists. Melgoza also performed well at the service line, dishing out 35 aces. Olly Gordon's ended the regular season with 143 kills but earned their honors as the team's block leader, earning 98.0 blocks on the season with 34 solo blocks and 64 assists.
