AT UCSC: Won 8th place 200 Y Free at 2020 PCSC Championships in 1:46.42. Also placed 13th in 100 Y Free with PR of 47.72. In college debut at Pacific Invite, swam 23.97 in 50 Free and the 100 Free in 51.93.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Swam for Orange Lutheran High School and Speed Aquatics.

Four-year varsity swimmer. Qualified for CIF twice during high school swim season, and went to Junior Olympics this past summer for club team. Received Magna Cum Laude academic award for GPA throughout high school, as well as maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout.

PERSONAL: Parents are Cindy and Scott. Two older siblings: brother Kyle and sister Isabel.

Picked UCSC because of the great campus and location, and it offered swimming unlike his other choices for college.

Most influential person is "probably a tie between my parents. They both work so hard and dedicate so much time to support me and my goals, and allow me to have the privileges and opportunities that I have been given throughout my life."

His hobbies/Personal interests are playing saxophone and piano, hiking and doing other outdoor activities. Intends to start surfing as well.
