Appeared in 18 games for the Banana Slugs as a Midfielder, starting 14… Scored three goals and recorded one assist… Took 21 shots, with 10 on goal… Played 1,275 minutes on the season… Earned Second Team All-C2C honors…Won the first C2C Championship in program history against undefeated No. 2 seeded Christopher Newport University

2023 Season - Sophomore
Played in 11 games with 11 starts. Had 2 assists on the season against Chapman and Redlands.

2022 Season - First Year
Played in all 16 games as a first-year student with three starts, playing for 706 minutes. Scored their first career goal on September 20 against William Jessup and had two goals October 18 against Lincoln.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: All-League selection at St. Anthony High School in Long Beach. Valedictorian, Honor Roll (Summa Cum Laude), National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation.
Played Club for Beach FC. Won ECRL National Championship, Surf College Cup.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jesus Fernandez and Maria Fernandez. Has two brothers: Jesus and Cristian. Says her father is the most influential person in her life because "he pushes me to be the best version of myself and reminds me to always be hardworking." Chose UCSC because "it has an extremely welcoming and diverse community. I believe it is a place where I can feel comfortable and grow both academically and athletically." Off the field, she enjoys dancing, volleyball, running, and walking dogs.
