HIGH SCHOOL: CIF State Runner-up with Loyola High School, 2022. 2022 Loyola Volleyball Scholar Athlete of the Year. 3rd Place Jr. Olympics 2021, 2nd Place Jr. Olympics 2022 with club team SMBC West.
PERSONAL: Parents are Patrick Houghton and Elizabeth D’Amico. Has a sister Veronica. Says the most influential person in his life is his Grandmother Sue because "she is extremely well put together, and is always able to choose what is best for herself and others. I strive to be like this because I believe that this is what life is all about."
He picked UCSC because "I fell in love with the campus when I was invited to come see it, and after my research about the academics and other programs , I knew this school would be a perfect fit." Hobbies include surfing, long boarding, mountain biking, drawing and reading.
