HIGH SCHOOL: Tyler was a four year varsity player and two year starter. Earned All Sierra League honors both his junior and senior year. Helped lead Ayala to the CIF playoffs all four years and was selected All Sierra League Academic Team.

PERSONAL: His parents are Denise and Michael Ponce. He is one of three triplets playing for the slugs this season. He has a sister, Courtney and a brother, Matthew.
