HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year starter on both the baseball team and the basketball teams at Sacred Heart Prep. All-Bay Area Honorable Mention selection his sophomore year. First Team All-League his senior year under Coach Tony Martinelli. Earned SHP's Athlete of Distinction award.
He played AAU basketball for Coach Al Grigsby with West Valley Basketball Club, guided West Valley to go undefeated and win the Bigfoot Hoops Las Vegas Live Tournament, scoring a team-high 17 points in the championship game.
COLLEGE: Consistently made undergraduate deans list at Tufts University. Played in 33 career games for the Jumbos averaging 26.7% on three-point shots.
PERSONAL: Son of Keith and Anna DeBrine. Has a sister Danielle. Says his parents are the most influential people in his life because "they are always there for me, and are always supporting me in everything I do." Picked Santa Cruz to be close to home and "UCSC has a beautiful campus and is close to the beach." Off the court enjoys travel, skiing, golfing, investments.
