AT UCSC: In 2022 season, finished  with team-high 277 digs in 29 matches. Added 74 assists and 17 kills. Season-high 19 digs on March 12 in 5-set match against St. John Fisher. Led team with 79 digs (3.29/set) in 2021 season, ranking third in the nation. Had career-high 23 in five-set win over Milwaukee School of Engineering. Added 16 assists.
A multi-faceted athlete, Max played in all 25 matches as a freshman in 2020. Season-high 17 kills on .500 hitting in five-set win Jan. 24 against Endicott. He switched back to libero/DS later in the year, with season-high 19 digs in Feb. 22 road win over Aurora. Led team with 168 digs in 2020, adding 85 kills, 30 assists, 5 aces and 5 blocks.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:  Played for Irvine High and 949 Athletics. Bronze medal in the Junior Olympics 2019 in Dallas Texas. MVP of high school team junior and senior year. 1st Team All League and Orange County All Star senior year. Graduated above a 3.85. Academic Honor Roll. Principal's Honor Roll every year.
PERSONAL:Â Parents are Melissa and Mark. Brother is Mitchell Mednick, who is Most influential person in his life because "he has helped me grow into the person I am today, gave me confidence and taught me to be comfortable with myself."
Hobbies include beach volleyball, riding bikes, and being outside.
