MILWAUKEE, WI. – The No. 7 UC Santa Cruz men's volleyball team fell to Milwaukee School of Engineering 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-22) on Sunday morning at the Kern Center. Kyle Ownbey led the team with nine kills on a .615 hitting percentage, while Riley Norman added seven kills and seven digs. With the loss, the Banana Slugs drop to 11-2 on the season, going 3-1 on the weekend.Â

- UCSC battled back in set two, hitting .265 with 13 kills. The set featured six tie scores and three lead changes, but the Slugs fell 25-21.

Evan Erickson contributed five kills on a .214 hitting percentage, and Nick Nayak added four kills, but UCSC came up short 25-22. Logan Taylor and Caio Valente each dished out 12 assists while Norman led the team defensively. AJ Contreras added four kills on .286 hitting in two sets of action, while Drake Harris contributed five digs. Ownbey added a solo block, and Erickson chipped in a block assist.
