
UC Santa Cruz Men's Swim and Dive Selected for NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, In. — On Wednesday afternoon, the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee the swimming participants in the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.
UC Santa Cruz saw their name selected in two events with six swimmers set to represent the Banana Slugs on the National stage. Among the list of this year's participants are Charlie Hussain, Andrew Koika, Kyle Reitan, Massimo Reyna, Bryson Schmid, and Adam Sinclair. The Slugs will compete in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay and were also invited to compete in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 400 medley relay, 100 fly, 200 medley relay, and the 800 free relay.
The championships will be held March 19-22 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference and the GAC will serve as hosts. A total of 579 participants (526 swimmers and 53 divers) will compete in the Championships.
Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events they entered. The complete list of all swimmers competing in the championships is available at www.usaswimming.org/ncaa.
