
Slugs Show Well on Day Three of NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, In. – The UC Santa Cruz men's and women's swim and dive teams performed well on day three of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swim and Dive Championships, competing in the 200 medley relay, 200 fly, 100 breast, and 800 free relay.

Day Three Results
The Banana Slugs 200 medley relay team of Greyson Davies, PJ Fortune, Andrew Koika, and Kyle Reitan turned in a time of 1:28.43 in the prelims and ended the evening with a 1:28.45, finishing in 14th place to secure Second Team All-American honors.

Greyson Davies earned a 22nd place finish in the 200 fly, touching the wall in 1:48.49. In the 100 breast, Lillian Wolfinger took 30th overall with a time of 1:04.45 while Namya Sarup touched in 1:05.83 to take 36th place.

UCSC's 800 free relay team of Massimo Reyna, Bryson Schmid, Charlie Hussain, and JJ Stoen combined for a time of 6:54.17 in the morning session to finish in 18th place.
