
Men’s Tennis Win 6-3 Over Kingsmen

THOUSAND OAKS (3-28) – UC Santa Cruz continued their five-match road trip to Southern California as they took on California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. The Banana Slugs won four singles matches en route to a 6-3 victory over the Kingsmen.

In the doubles matches, Ryan Lam and Benjamin Wang won at #2 8-4. Radin Sadeghi and Mayur Nookala won at #3 8-3.
In the singles matches, Sadeghi won his match at #3 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. At #4, Lam won 7-6 (7-4), 6-3. Hari Raghavan won his match at #5 6-4, 6-2. At #6, Wang won his match 6-1, 6-1.
"I'm super happy today to get the win in both singles and doubles for the team after a tough couple of matches," Sadeghi said about today's match. "It was very enjoyable competing alongside my teammates as we look to build on this win and continue to get better."

Raghavan said, "I'm really happy with our energy throughout singles and doubles and with how we pulled for each other as a team. We stayed resilient and fought hard, which helped us get the win today."

The Banana Slugs will continue their Southern California swing tomorrow as they visit the University of Redlands at 6 pm.
