Camille Anneet's goal sends Banana Slugs to C2C Final

FREDERICKSBURG, VA-- Camille Anneet scored the eventual game-winner seven minutes into the second half as UC Santa Cruz defeated Salisbury 1-0 in the Coast-To-Coast Conference Tournament semifinals.
UC Santa Cruz, the second-seed, won their fourth game in a row and advances to Sunday's Conference Final against top-seed and No. 1 ranked Christopher Newport. It's the second time in the past three years that the Banana Slugs and Captains will meet for the Conference Title.

UC Santa Cruz had all the possession and chances in the first half, tallying seven attempts while holding the Seagulls without a shot. They were held off the scoreboard until the 52nd minute, when Chelyn Ackerman's cross from the right cleared the defense and found Anneet all alone in the six-yard box. It was Anneet's fourth goal of the year.
Amelia Brown made her only save in goal in the 64th minute. The Banana Slugs almost added a second goal to close the game, but Angela Bradbury's 89th minute header off a corner went wide.

The Banana Slugs finished with a 13-2 shot advantage.
