Box Score LA VERNE-- UC Santa Cruz had a 22-6 shot advantage in their 3-0 win at La Verne Thursday evening.

Torin Volkamer opened scoring in the 31st minute after a close range shot after a pass from Tyler Allred. Adrian Jacobs doubled UC Santa Cruz's lead in the 77th minute after finishing a pass from Acer Cristea at the post. Allred finished scoring with under nine minutes left after a steal and run at the goalkeeper. Kian Van der Meer had four saves for his fourth complete game shutout of the year.

The Banana Slugs (9-5-2) finish the weekend trip on Saturday at Whittier.
