Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

EAGLE ROCK - UC Santa Cruz went 0-2 on the weekend, with a loss to SCIAC team Occidental before being edged by UT-Dallas in a neutral site game.

On Friday, UCSC was outshot 16-4 in a 4-0 loss at Occidental. The Tigers scored on their first shot in the 4th minute and had UCSC on the back foot the whole game before adding three insurance goals in the second half. Andrew Pimentel had five saves in the loss.

Against the Comets, UCSC started off quick when Mathias Cien-Meyer scored to put UCSC up 1-0 and break UT-Dallas's 315-minute shutout streak. The Banana Slugs kept the lead until halftime until UTD's Cole Trevor-Wilson tied it in the 56th minute. UTD took the lead four minutes later, however, the Slugs tied it from James Allison's shot in the 87th minute. With the game looking to go to overtime, the Comets slotted home the game winner with 1:43 left and held off the UCSC for the heartbreaking win.

UCSC ( 5-10-1) will finish their six-game roadtrip with a pair of games in the Lone Star state, beginning at second-ranked Trinity on Friday the 27th.
