Leading scorer Rafael Reynal had a penalty kick, Kurt Riedel and Sean Kemp added two more goals to lead the UCSC men's soccer team to a 3-0 West Coast Intercollegiate Conference win over California Maritime Academy Wednesday at UCSC.

The victory boasted UCSC to a 7-2-1 record, and depending on the outcome of the upcoming Menlo-Maritime Academy game on Saturday, UCSC could finish in first place. Menlo owns a 6-1-2 mark.
