PERSONAL: Picked UCSC for the amazing art program, the gorgeous location of the school and also the opportunity to continue playing soccer on a competitive level during her studies.

Mother is Tracey Chu. Siblings are Jaden Chu and Sidney Chu. Calls her mom is the most influential person in her life because "she is able to achieve having a successful full time job while raising three kids by herself. She is strong, resilient, and is understanding. I aspire to be like my mom one day because of how amazing she has made my life."

Her personal interests are she loves to read, draw, and as a hobby has collected snow globes since she was a little girl.
