PERSONAL: Oscar is the son of David Derryck and Erica Terry Derryck. One sister: Nadia. Lists his dad is the most influential person in his life because "he has taught me everything I know. He's shaped my morals and who I am today. I wouldn't be a college student and I certainly wouldn't be a college athlete without his guidance and sacrifice."
