Eric Bucchere enters his first year as an Assistant Coach for the Slugs. He graduated from UCSC in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Modern Literature. As a midfielder for Slugs from 2001 to 2004, Eric’s leadership on and off of the soccer field were instrumental to the team’s success. During his four years with the program, the Men’s Soccer team posted a record of 69-12-2. In his senior season he lead UC Santa Cruz to the NCAA Division III National Championship game for the first time in the program’s history. Eric is currently coaching for the Catalyst Soccer Club and the Santa Cruz County Breakers.
