HIGH SCHOOL: Varsity Team MVP of Tracy High. 1st Team All Conference, All Defensive Team, All County Honorable Mention.
2 year team captain and league champion senior year. Scholar Athlete Recipient all four years.Â
PERSONAL: Son of David and Susan McDonald. Sister Melissa and brother Michael. Calls his dad the most influential person in his life because "he was my inspiration to start playing basketball and has always pushed me to be the best individual I can be on and off the court."
Picked UCSC because of its academic prestige, its amazing basketball coaching staff, and it was somewhere he could see himself fitting in and continuing his basketball career for the next four years.
