MUSCLE SHOALS, ALABAMA --
The UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs had stiff competition at Emory University's Deb Jackson Invitational facing six nationally-ranked opponents. The Banana Slugs ended in 10th place after 3 rounds of play with a team score of 1028 (334-339-355). 

First-year Jiya Dalal had the low total for the Banana Slugs at 246, with Alyssa Yee close behind at 247. Yee recorded her second-ever eagle on the first day of the competition. Mikaela Paracuelles shot a 250 and Elana McGrew recorded a 285 to wrap up scoring for UC Santa Cruz. 

The Banana Slugs will be competing next at the American Southwest Conference Championship in Brownwood, TX on April 29th and 30th.
