Banana Slugs come back in Second Half to tie at Pomona-Pitzer

Two second-half goals by Jacob Myers Norys allowed the UCSC Banana Slugs to rally and tie Pomona-Pitzer 2-2 on a bright Saturday in Southern California.
UCSC goes to 4-6-4 on the year while the Sagehens go to 7-8-3.
Down 2-0 at the half, Myers Norys hit for two in a five-minute span midway through the second half. He got the Slugs on the board cleaning up after a corner kick and then completed his brace four minutes later to tie it. The teams then traded chances the rest of the half to no avail.
In Overtime, the Slugs outshot the hosts 7-0 but couldn't find a golden goal and had to settle for the tie. UCSC had an 18-15 shot advantage and a 6-5 edge in corner kicks
The Slugs next travel to San Antonio for two West Region games ovr Halloween weekend.
