- Champion in the 1M (229.40) and 3M (224.85) diving competitions at the PCSC Championships
- Earned 2022 PCSC Diver of the Meet after winning both conference titles.

HIGH SCHOOL: 3-time Kern County High School all-area diver of the year at Stockdale High in Bakersfield. California Scholarship Federation, National Honor Society, President's Award for Excellence. Was on Roadrunner Aquatics Diving Team.

PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Laura Akey. Calls them the most influential people in his life because "they always support me in everything I do and push me to be the best I can be."
