AT UCSC: Finished with 186 kills and 16 aces in 2021. Added 15 total blocks. Second on the team in total kills. Season-high 17 kills October 15th at No. 7 Colorado College. Had 15 kills in C2C semifinal against Salisbury on November 5th.
Named Coast-To-Coast Conference Newcomer of the Year. All-Conference Second Team and Conference All-Tournament team.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Three-Year Varsity Starter and Two-Year Varsity Captain at Los Osos High School. 1st Team All-League, Team MVP, Broke the school record for most kills in a match by an individual (29 kills). Four-Year Scholar Athlete, Four-Year Honor Roll, above a 4.0 all 4 Years, CSF Highest Honors.
Same Club team as UCSC teammates Lauren Bliss and Peyton Tazelaar (Forza 1 North).
PERSONAL: Parents are Kevin and Brandy Taylor. Brother/Sister are Trent and Chloe Taylor, Most influential persons are "my parents, because they both work so hard for everything my family has and they have shown me true determination." Picked UCSC because "it felt like home the moment I stepped onto campus for the first time. The environment, the people, I loved everything about it. I also felt comfortable with the girls on the team and felt welcomed to be a part of the program. The coaches have given me overwhelming support and I know that I will love UCSC even more once school starts in the fall."
Hobbies include working out or doing any sort of physical activity, listening to all types of music, watching 80s movies and reading. She plays guitar, piano, and her favorite thing to do is spend time with friends.
