2024 Season - Senior
Appeared in 45 sets for the UC Santa Cruz as an outside hitter…Recording 55 total kills, 22 service aces, 59 digs, 6.0 total blocks…Season-high 11 digs versus
Mary Washington…In 2021 achieved single season hitting percentage with 0.396 leading the Banana Slug record books.
2023 Season - Junior
Played in 31 sets this season with 10 service aces, 34 digs, and 1 block. She had a season-high 6 digs versus Whittier.Â
2022 Season - Sophomore
Had a team-high 61 blocks in 2022 playing all 25 matches. Also had 26 aces and 123 kills while hitting .314. Season-high 11 kills while hitting .625 in four-set win September 9th at Pacific (Ore.). Tied career-high with 6 block assists in NCAA Tournament match against UT Dallas.
2021 Season - Freshman
Played all 21 matches in her freshman year. Had a team-high .396 hitting percentage, setting a new school single-season record. Totaled 111 kills, 12 aces, and 52 total blocks. Had 10 kills on 11 attempts in college debut on September 1st at Whittier.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:Â 2nd team all-league x3, team captain, 4-year varsity player at Hillsdale HS. Valedictorian, Distinguished Scholar award. Played club for Rage Westside.
PERSONAL: Parents are Carol and Jeff Gilbert. Brother: Jackson Gilbert, Sister: Vivien Gilbert. The most influential people are her parents because "they have inspired me to be such a strong and self-advocating person, and I would not be the person I am without them."
Hobbies/Personal interests include creating all kinds of art and cooking.
