HIGH SCHOOL: JV Most Improved, varsity Honorable Mention both her junior and senior year, senior year team went to semi-finals of CIF, honor roll all four years, as well as scholar-athlete all four years.

PERSONAL: Choose UCSC for the location, education, and to play volleyball. What Katie likes best about Santa Cruz is the campus, location, and volleyball team. Her hobbies are dancing, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and playing sports. Her favorite food is Mexican and sushi and she enjoys listening to all kinds of music. Her favorite athlete is Roxy White and her favorite movie is Superbad. The best class taken at UCSC was Personal Computers and my favorite place in Santa Cruz is Iowa Street and the beach. The parents are Jim and Denise and have two siblings, Kelley (22) and Jimmy (13).
