2021: Played in 15 games with one start in her first year on the team. Scored first career goal in C2C Quarterfinal win over Mills to finish scoring. Had a pair of assists.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated with high honors from Renaissance Arts Academy in Los Angeles. Kayla spent all four years in her school's advanced dance company and three years participating in a Health Science Mentorship Program.

Two-time Slammers Players Cup Champions and Vegas Cup Champion with FC Valencia SWAP.

PERSONAL: Parents are Angelica and Gregory Alexander. Brother Sean and sister Celeste. The most influential people in her life are "my grandparents. They're always so kind and generous to everyone and they taught me to always be grateful for the opportunities I'm given in life."

Hobbies or personal interests are traveling, writing, drawing, and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys having freedom, and writing, drawing, and being with friends offer that.

Chose UCSC because of the positive environment and diversity. "UCSC has many unique classes offered to students and I'm excited to further my knowledge in subjects I'm interested in. Santa Cruz also has a great women's soccer team, not to mention the beautiful campus."
