2024 Season – Junior
Started all 17 games for the Banana Slugs as a Defender and team captain… Scored two goals, took six shots, with two on goal… Played 1,392 minutes on the season… Earned First Team All-C2C honors…A part of the program's first C2C Championship in history, following a 2-0 victory against No. 2 ranked Christopher Newport University, who entered the game on an 84 game unbeaten streak.
2023 Season - Sophomore
Played in 16 games with 11 starts. Had 1 goal and 3 assists, scoring her first career goal against Lincoln on October 11.
2022 Season - First Year
Played 15 games and started 14 as a first-year, playing 944 minutes altogether.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: CIF Norcal Finalist her senior year with Granite Bay High School. All Conference. Academic Merit Award, CA Seal of Biliteracy, GBHS Dance Department Award, AP Scholar Award with Honors.
Played Club soccer with Placer United Soccer Club along with current Banana Slug teammates Makenna Curtis and Chelyn Ackerman. Won 2021 Surf College Cup, 2017 and 2021 National Premier League championships.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Nadia and Bobby Truong. Has two sisters: Kailee and Maddy. Says the most influential person in her life is her older sister Kailee because "I've looked up to her my whole life. She has always been there for me and has taught me that hard work does pay off. She also helped me understand how to pave my own future and not worry about her accomplishments when it came to my own."
She picked UCSC because "as soon as I visited the campus and met some of my future teammates, I was instantly hooked. The campus views were beautiful and I loved the weather. I also thought the people I met were super friendly and down-to-earth, and I could definitely see myself going there and having an amazing time." Other than soccer, she likes to read, listen to music, dance, play other sports, snowboard and paddleboard.
