Biography

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Poway High School, where he set the school's single-season and career kill records. Honor Student, One-time 1st team All-League and two-time 2nd team All-League. All tourney team for Junior Olympics with Epic Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeri and Forrest Shepard. Three siblings are Mason Erika and Logan. Twin brother Logan is also on the UCSC team. Most influential people in his life are his parents because "I wouldn’t be here without them. They both have had such a huge impact on my life and I wouldn’t even be close to the person I am today without them."
Chose UCSC because "I’ve always wanted to go to a UC and compete in my sport and Santa Cruz have me that opportunity."
Hobbies off the court include Ping Pong, Spikeball, Reading , and Surfing.
