Biography

AT UCSC: Hit .438 with 44 kills in six matches in 2021, setting the school-record for hitting percentage. Season-high 14 kills in sweep over Concordia -Chicago March 28.
Added six aces and 14 digs. Named 2020-21 UCSC Athletics' Newcomer of the Year.

BEFORE UCSC: Had 217 kills and 101 digs in 19 matches at El Camino College in Torrance in 2019. Was sixth in the state in kills. Added 32 aces and 34 total blocks.

Played his freshman year in 2018 at Illinois Tech where he finished with school-records of 469 kills and 35 aces while starting all 29 matches. Season-high 28 kills in five-set match against Augustana.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was two-time all tournament team at Redondo Union High School. Was on honor roll for all of high school. Played club for Evolution and Southern California VC.

PERSONAL: Parents are Brooke and Dave. Has a brother Tre. Chose UCSC to be able to play volleyball here and to see friends that go to school here. 

Most influential person is his grandpa because "he was the person I looked up to the most because he was a good family man who was kind to everyone." Hobbies include Video games and reading.
