Says her parents are the most influential people in her life -"my dad is a retired marine and even though he was constantly deployed he still made everyday a fun time. My mom was strong through all of it and took care of us all so well. Their strength and love for us makes me want to be the best person I can be."
Picked UCSC because "the school provides many outdoor activities and a good program for my major. This will make my time being a Banana Slug much more enjoyable. With the beach and the redwood forest it makes it such a beautiful place to live in. "
