HIGH SCHOOL Ava attended Torrey Pines High School, where she won CIF championships in 2016 and 2017 while also winning student-athlete high honors. She played club for the San Diego Surf as a forward and midfielder.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Danette Kresich-Colasin and Anthony Colasin. Lists her mom as her most influential person because "she’s always been there for me and has shown me how to look for the positive things in every situation."Picked UCSC because of the great academics offered and the beautiful campus and location,also because of the emphasis that you are a student and then an athlete. Enjoys being outside whether it’s hiking or just exploring new areas. She also plays the guitar.
