SANTA CRUZ, Ca. - The UC Santa Cruz women's tennis team fell in a close battle to Occidental College 4-3 to wrap up their weekend at home. The Slugs gained the doubles point, winning two of the three matches both at 6-4. Chloe Khachadourian and Meleja Horelick won their singles matches for the Banana Slugs before falling short to the Tigers.

- Chloe Wu and Lucy Yung finished first falling 6-4 at No. 1.
- Emily Belezzuoli and Meleja Horelick won their match 6-4 on court three, following, Chloe Kachadourian and Alicia DeWitt gained the doubles point for the Slugs 6-4 at No. 2.
Singles:
- Chloe Wu dropped 6-3, 6-1 at court No. 1 while Chloe Khachadourian was on a roll and won 6-4, 6-2 on court three.
- Finishing shortly after, Alicia DeWitt fell 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5Â before Lucy Yung dropped 6-2, 7-5 on court 2.
- Later, No. 6 Adeline Lai fell after battling 7-5, 6-3.
- Wrapping up singles on court 4, Meleja Horelick prevailed and secured her point at a close 6-4, 7-5.
