NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The UC Santa Cruz women's tennis team delivered a dominant performance on Friday, blanking the Mary Washington Eagles 4-0 to secure a spot in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Championship match against Christopher Newport tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. EST.

The Banana Slugs quickly took control in doubles play, earning the crucial point with strong showings on courts two and three. Melody Ghaffari and Chloe Wu clinched the first decision at No. 2 doubles, cruising to a 6-4 win. Shortly after, Meghana Damojipurapu and Sweden Van Houten secured a parallel 6-4 victory at the No. 3 spot, giving UCSC the doubles point and early momentum.
