FREDERICKSBURG, VA -- The UC Santa Cruz Women's Tennis team lost by a score of 5-1 at Mary Washington in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinal.
Starting with the doubles matches, #3 Tanner Rowland and Meghana Damojipurapu got a score of 8-1. However the Eagles captured the next two matches to take a 2-1 lead. With the weather causing havoc, the singles portion switched to the indoors. The Eagles used the home advantage to take the four singles matches needed to advance to Sunday's final.
The Banana Slugs (12-6) tied the school record for the most dual wins in a season. They will find out Monday if they made the NCAA Division III Tournament.
