VALLEJO, Ca. – UC Santa Cruz men's soccer earned a dominant victory against Cal Maritime with a 6-1 victory on Tuesday evening, showcasing an impressive offensive display. The win brings the Banana Slugs' season record to 6-1-8.

How It Happened
UCSC set the tone early with a goal from Nico Herrera-Land in the 10th minute, taking the lead at 1-0 for the game's first goal. Just four minutes later, Max Beldner doubled the lead, and Herrera-Land scored again in the 20th minute, assisted by Soren Groessl, making it 3-0. Cal Maritime struck back with a goal in the 44th minute, ending the first half at 3-1.

In the second half, UCSC continued their attack. Acer Cristea scored in the 69th minute, assisted by Caleb Lee, followed by a penalty conversion by Lee in the 80th minute. Torin Volkamer added a sixth goal shortly after in the 81st minute to finish the scoring.
