Banana Slugs go 3-0 in Oregon
NEWBERG, OR (2-20)- UC Santa Cruz finished their weekend trip to Oregon with a 5-2 win over George Fox.
The Banana Slugs took two doubles matches-Tanner Rowland and Meghana Damojipurapu won at No. 2 and Sara Beckman and Natalie Springer took the No. 1 match 8-7.
The Banana Slugs then went 3-4 in singles matches to win the dual and leave the other two single matches unfinished. Sprenger and Damojipurapu won in straight sets, each allowing just two points combined. Daniela Christian was up one set and Jolie Seemayer came back to tie her match 2-6, 7-6, but Rowland finished the dual with a straight-set win in her match that gave UC Santa Cruz the win.

The Banana Slugs next face No. 1 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps next Saturday on the road.
