UC Santa Cruz Women's Volleyball team wins their match against Menlo College!  The Slugs won in four sets 18-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-13. 

Junior Outside Hitter Katherine Grow led the slugs with 15 kills (0.320 pct).  Junior Middle Blocker Ginger Berryman totaled 2.5 blocks followed by Junior Middle Blocker with 2.0 blocks. Senior Setter Alyssa Trakes contributed 41 assists on the match.

The Slugs struggled to find their groove early in the match.  Once they adjusted to the new environment and an enthusiastic opposing crowd, the Slugs quickly took control of the game's momentum.  With incredible blocking and offensive hitting, the Slugs outpaced their opponent in the transition game.
