The UCSC men's basketball team was hoping for an easy victory Saturday night against visiting San Jose Bible College, and it got one.
In fact, the Sea Lions didn't even have to step on the court to win it as San Jose Bible, which showed up with only four players, was forced to forfeit the Bay Area Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game.
The Victory raised UCSC's record to 8-10 overall and 5-0 in conference.
San Jose later added an unofficial player and lost an 84-57 scrimmage. UCSC guard John Saintignon, one of the nation's leading collegiate scorers, did not play for the Sea Lions in the scrimmage.
