HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: CIF Section Runner and CIF State Quarter Finalist at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento. Graduated with over 600 hours of community service. Played for Synergy Force Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Gary and Sophie Chu. Has an older brother Harrison, who she says is the most influential person in her life because "I have and always will look up to him because of his determination and hard-working nature. He is also the most caring person I have ever met and I look up to him for it."
She picked UCSC because of the gorgeous campus and the endless opportunities provided by the university. "I immediately fell in love with the campus on my first visit to the school. I also love that UCSC is only a few minutes from the beach."
Enjoys skiing, wake surfing, hanging out with friends, and working out.
