Branden Torado joined the women’s volleyball program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2021 season. He has coached youth volleyball the previous eight years, most recently for Main Beach Volleyball Club of Santa Cruz.

A native of Sacramento, Torado was a four-year standout on the Banana Slug Men’s Volleyball team from 2012-2015, making it to three NCAA Tournaments. He is the program’s all-time leader in hitting percentage and graduated in the top five in career blocks and aces.
