- Made college debut at the 2023 Calif. State Intercollegiate in Ventura with a two-round score of 177. Was 23rd at the 2023 American Southwest preview in Alexandria Louisiana with a two-round score of 159. Placed 54th at the 2024 UCSC Spring Invite in Pacific Grove with a two-round score of 168.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity golf for four years at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, California. PAL League Champion & Girl Medalist 2017, Senior year team captain, Cal League Champions 2020, helped the team reach the section championship tournament all four years. Multi-sport athlete including basketball and lacrosse.
Multi-time Nor-Cal qualifier. Only undefeated season for women's Golf in 2021. Honor roll student, community service high honors, social action leadership team lead, and scholar-athlete.
PERSONAL: First generation daughter of May and Victor Esquivel. Says her parents are the most influential people in her life because "they are my everyday inspiration to work hard and complete my education. They have both always worked extremely hard, and treat others with such kindness and generosity." Chose UCSC because "the school is set in the forest and near the ocean – a perfect fit for my major and my love of the outdoors."
Hobbies include hiking, camping, skating, snowboarding, going to the beach, taking long drives, going to the gym, hanging out with family and friends, photography, and traveling.
