HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Chaminade College Prep in southern California. 2019 CIF Southern Section Champion. 2x Team Captain, First Team All-League as a junior, Second Team All League as a senior. Won Highest Honor every semester (4.0 GPA)

PERSONAL: Parents are Shawn and Kimberly Forbes. One sibling: Justice Forbes. Says her dad is the most influential person in her life because "he has always motivated me to strive for my goals." 
She picked UCSC for the pretty campus, welcoming vibes, and for the many resources available and all kinds of academic, research, and athletic opportunities. And "Sammy the Slug is a pretty sick mascot." In her free time she likes to "read, play video games, hang out with my cat, listen to podcasts, and lift."
